Curriculum

Built on the Principles That Define Replay Excellence

At Elite Replay Academy, our curriculum is guided by a challenge from Mike Defee, Coordinator for Conference USA and the Mountain West Conference:

“I challenge our conference Replay staff to better contribute to the overall officiating process by adopting the mantra of Anticipate, Recognize, and Deliver.”

These three principles are at the heart of everything we teach. Every lesson, simulation, and practice session is designed to help replay officials and replay communicators anticipate the next play, recognize critical moments with confidence, and deliver clear, accurate information when it matters most. This philosophy shapes the way we prepare professionals to perform at the highest level and contribute to the integrity of the game.

Three Core Principles

Stay one step ahead by recognizing potential replay situations before they happen and preparing to support the on-field crew with confidence.

Develop the ability to quickly identify reviewable plays, understand game situations, and make informed decisions under pressure.

Communicate accurate, timely, and confident information that helps the on-field crew make the right call and keeps the game moving efficiently.
